Role: Test Architect with Selenium & C# Experience Location: Round Rock, TX- ( Remote but Need Locals Only) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Specifications: 12+ years of experience in Software Testing with a minimum of 6+ years of software automation experience in web applications, web-services. Proficient in C# with good understanding of OOP and coding principles. Proficient in Web Automation, and API Testing (RESTful, MQ based APIs, XML, JSON, etc.) with Selenium C# Proficient with tools like Selenium WebDriver, Visual Studio, BDD, REST-Assured, GitLab, Postman, Swagger, Jira, Jenkins etc. Proficient with test automation frameworks like PoM, and BDD. Proficient in developing/customizing test scripts. Design and develop/customize automation frameworks based on POM, and data driven methodology. Good Experience in automating REST and MQ based APIs. Proficient to setup and support CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins. Good understanding of writing PL/SQL queries to collect and verify test-data for relational databases. Good experience in system testing, Integration/Interface testing, end-to-end Testing, and user experience testing. Good experience in efforts sizing and test planning. Exhibiting good technical acumen to drive test-automation individually without supervision to achieve overall project goals. Identify and track Software Defects and drive them to timely resolution. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience presenting data to cross-functional teams and/or management. Education Qualification and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. Test Certifications are preferred (Agile Safe, ISTQB certifications, CSM, CSD, CSP) Responsibilities: Building Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for test automation while working with multiple test-automation frameworks with Selenium C# & Visual Studio. Coding and scripting to support test automation framework customization/augmentation, test-case automation, and creating test-suites. Managing Source-Code and branches in GitLab. Setting up CI/CD pipelines for Continuous testing. Identifying the chaining mechanism for integrating different automation suites to build an E2E integrated automated solution. Coding and scripting experience to support test framework, automation, and test-suites. Setting up CI/CD pipelines for Continuous testing. Design, develop, document, and maintain automated tests suites for Smoke, Sanity, Regression, etc. Adherence to best coding practices and automation engineering best practices. Identify and automate test scenarios/test-cases with agreed industry standards and creates and maintains appropriate test artifacts for the team. Execute test cases and evaluate test results for both manual and automated testing. Provide timely status on assignments, planned activities, issues, and dependencies. Perform automated testing, analyze test results, report defect into the bug tracking system and push/drive issues to resolution. Create test documentation (i.e. test plans, test cases) as required. Responsible for ensuring the quality of existing and newly developed test automation-scripts. Taking necessary steps to maintain delivery timelines. Owning the analysis and resolution of leaked Defects to Production. Creates and maintains traceability records, from test cases back to requirements. Communicates daily with the Scrum Master or Team Lead and the agile team on progress made and planned progress for the coming day; reports any impediments blocking progress.
