This role is crucial for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the performance and security of SQL Server RDBMS systems, supporting the our client's applications. You'll collaborate within a matrix team of IIS/Web Administrators, Oracle DBAs, and Server Engineers to achieve high levels of system performance and availability. Requirements: 8 years of combined education and/or professional experience in IT, with at least 4 years in MS SQL Server Administration. Proficiency in Windows Server 2008-2022. Experience with Performance Tuning, Optimization, and SQL Server Tools (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS). Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) for SQL Server. Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Duties Include: Managing SQL Server databases from development to production. Ensuring high performance, availability, and security of databases. Applying data modeling techniques for integration and performance. Providing end-to-end problem resolution. Supporting complex query tuning and schema refinement. Offering 24x7 support for critical systems and performing after-hours maintenance. Acting as a subject matter expert on IT projects and services.
