The role primarily involves managing and maintaining Citrix desktop environments to ensure seamless and efficient operation. (Contract) Role: - Linux Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH Client is TCS Technical/Functional Skills Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain servers in a Linux environment. Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies. Monitor the health of Linux servers through automated and manual processes. Design, develop, and implement infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools using scripts such as BASH and PowerShell. Perform server hardware maintenance and upgrades. Collaborate with team members or other IT departments to create test automation frameworks. Develop tools to enhance the functionality and efficiency of available infrastructure. Maintain software repositories and apply software updates. Document procedures, configurations, and programs. Work within agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and seeking continued learning opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 6-8 years of experience as a Linux Engineer. Proficiency in RedHat Linux.
