Position : TAD/Z Mainframe Engineer, No H1B Location: Fully Remote Duration: 6+ Month MOI: Phone and Video Responsibilities: Managing automation of asset data for End of Life MRA projects Qualifications: Expert at using TAD/Z and keeping the data current (should be TADZ engineers) IBM asset discovery software Proficient in REXX Facing off with vendors to discover EOS/EOM/EOL and keeping our inventory current Creating proactive alerts to give us a year in advance notice of EOS Conversant with Mainframe ISVs Experience with Project Management and Agile preferred Data analysis and manipulation Additional skills: Flexera software The below is only for your reference for sourcing and screening purposes, please DO NOT post online or email it to candidates: Need TAD/Z experience Good knowledge of reporting- they are working on reports with IBM, be able to coordinate with IBM Mainframe knowledge is a must Flexera is a plus Scripting- good JCL experience is a must Good Excel experience is needed Fully remote Financial experience is not needed but a plus Working EST zone- India team is usually on 8/9/10am EST- be able to run meetings between 9 or 10pm Tivoli- has been taken over- not needed IBM Asset Discovery z/OS- system programmer Someone who has knowledge of the product, work with IBM to communicate and see what is missing 2 rounds of interviews Must be able to generate reports End of Life / End of Service project Ending everything on the mainframe and shipping to Flexera for end of life date.
