Position: Drupal Developer Location: Salt Lake City, Utah Duration: 6 months Visa: No H1B/CPT Interview: Video Job Description: Requirements: Determines the resources needed to plan and implement IT applications. Designs, implements, tests, and maintains required software. Discusses requirements with end users and provides software suggestions and recommendations to users to help them understand potential limitations and challenges. Reviews and evaluates proposals to determine feasibility and compatibility. Designs relational databases that meet user needs in accordance with best practices. Selects testing methods to evaluate the success of both software upgrades and modifications. Adapts automated testing system(s) to ensure application functionality and stability Prepares software documentation for future reference and maintenance needs. Establishes and documents standards for use and operation of software. Troubleshoots and fixes software issues and bugs. Makes adjustments to optimize performance. Anticipates the impact that new or modified software will have on existing standards and systems. Analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data; reports findings, interprets results and/or makes recommendations. Provides technical assistance on agency issues, services, program(s), and/or computer software, etc. Evaluates software and hardware products for possible purchase. Other tasks as assigned. Required Skills/ Qualifications: 4 Years of experience programming in procedural OOP with php 8.1+ 2 Years of experience working in Drupal 9 or higher 2 years of writing reusable and modular code 2 Years - SQL, Database Procedures/Functions 2 years of experience creating Drupal modules to solve problems The candidate must demonstrate an excellent ability to learn new skills. Required technical skills: Java, SQL, PHP, HTML, Javascript, Spring Boot, React (or modern frontend framework), REST APIs, RDBMS - especially MySQL, git, Junit (or similar), IDE of choice (VS Code, IntelliJ, etc., Preferred technical skills: UX/UI Skills, FHIR AWS Cloud The developer will need to have an advanced understanding of technologies and data formats currently in use including PHP, Drupal, HL7, XML, JSON, PostgreSQL, and Mirth/NextGen Connect.
