From: Sonali, KPG [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: AWS Cloud Engineer Location: Hybrid- Lansing, MI Duration- 12 months contract Top Skills & Years of Experience: - 7+ years of Cloud technologies experience, preferably in AWS. - Experience with AWS services like S3, EC2, VPC, LAMDA, Amazon manage streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK), B11ROSA (OpenShift). - Experience with installing and configuring Elastic stack on a containerized environment. - Experience with Kubernetes concepts such as Pods, Deployments, Services, and Persistent Volumes. - AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred. Interview Process: Virtual Interview via MS Teams video. Please use laptop and be prepared to share screen if asked. Remote or On-site: Candidates MUST be local at time of submission within a commutable distance (1-1.5 hours). Will need to be onsite starting day 1 for hybrid work schedule - In office 2 days a week. This position is for an AWS Cloud Engineer who will support and complete the tasks necessary to design and implement cloud solutions for DTMB agency services supporting MDHHS. The resource will be pivotal in designing, executing, and managing our cloud projects to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. The position will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, architecture design, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS. Not having a cloud Engineer on the team will impact the MDSS modernization project and support needed post-implementation.
