If interested, please share your resume at [email protected] FICO Blaze Developer (6-8 years experience) Location: McLean, VA (Onsite) About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced developer to join our team in McLean, VA. You will play a critical role in developing and maintaining credit risk decision management solutions using FICO Blaze and FICO APM. You will leverage your expertise in Java technologies, web services, and business rules management to build robust and scalable decisioning systems. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain FICO Blaze rules for credit risk decisioning, including scorecards, behavioral models, PD/LGD models. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of FICO Blaze decision strategies for various credit risk processes. Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to understand credit risk requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Utilize FICO APM for model deployment and management. Integrate FICO Blaze rules with external systems using web services (REST/SOAP) and potentially Mule ESB. Work with PMML/JPMML for model interchange and integration. Conduct model testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of credit risk decisions. Maintain and troubleshoot existing FICO Blaze applications. Qualifications: Essential Skills: 6-8 years of experience in software development with a focus on Java technologies. In-depth knowledge of FICO Blaze and credit risk decision management principles. Experience with scorecards, behavioral models, PD/LGD models, and model testing/validation methodologies. Proven ability to develop and manage business rules using a BRMS (Business Rules Management System). Hands-on experience with FICO APM module for model deployment. Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and potential integration tools like Mule ESB. Understanding of PMML/JPMML for model interchange. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Desirable Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying FICO Blaze applications.
