The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in the latest Large Language Models (LLMs), with a focus on advanced techniques such as chunking, embeddings, and retrieval. A strong familiarity with prominent open-source LLM libraries, particularly LangChain and LlamaIndex, is essential. This role requires not only technical proficiency but also the ability to effectively engage and connect with both IT and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Implement LLM Solutions: Design, develop, and implement solutions using the latest LLM techniques, including chunking, embeddings, and retrieval algorithms. Utilize Open Source Libraries: Demonstrate proficiency in using and contributing to open-source LLM libraries like LangChain and LlamaIndex. Understands and can work through the tradeoffs of RAG vs Fine-tuning or using a combination of both. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with IT teams and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate these into effective AI solutions. Data Engineering and Management: Manage large datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity, and optimize data retrieval and processing techniques. Stay Updated and Innovate: Keep abreast of the latest developments in LLM and AI technologies, and apply this knowledge to innovate and improve existing systems. Problem-Solving: Identify and address complex problems, applying analytical thinking and LLM expertise to provide effective solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. Proven experience in AI and Data Engineering, with specific expertise in Large Language Models. Deep understanding of LLM techniques like chunking, embeddings, and retrieval. Experience with open-source LLM libraries such as LangChain and LlamaIndex. Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Preferred Skills: Experience in deploying AI solutions in a business context.
