Experience: 8+ years hands-on overall experience Interview: Two interviews (first with team Dev & QAs then the 2nd interview with Manager) Location : Can be remote but they prefer local so they can go to team building on occassion (DO NOT want people that have more than one job working remotely) Certification: ISTQB Preferred but other certifications accepted Their stack is Angular, JavaScript, Typescript. Will be the LEAD QA (will mentor and lead) Looking for: Website Exposure - Public Facing Website exposure - Online bills pay experience is helpful. Cypress experience front (UI) and API testing experience. API Testing with POSTMAN Authentication Typescript SQL Server database experience MUST HAVE: native application testing. Nice to have Appium For mobile testing. POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior QA Analyst is responsible for leading the end-to-end quality of projects within the Companys Online Account and Case Management portfolios. The Sr QA Analyst creates, tests, and plans for both manual and automated testing of data integration and visualization applications. The Sr QA Analyst delivers creative and innovative solutions to support the development team through planning and prioritization of test design, test development, and test automation activities. This position works closely with application developers, business analysts, infrastructure engineers and Offshore QA Analysts through all stages of the software development process to ensure that all systems meet organization standards and end-user requirements. This work will be accomplished within an Agile methodology or other methodologies in support of a Continuous Delivery Pipeline with frequent application releases. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with project lead and project team to plan, estimate, schedule and execute testing for applications Establishing, organizing and monitoring testing deliverables Documenting and executing complex software test plans and strategies Ensures traceability of test cases back to project requirements Executing end to end test scenarios Coordinating and supporting user-acceptance test plans Working with project management and development staff to report and resolve complex issues Works directly with appropriate IT personnel to understand project concept, objectives and approach of software development projects Ensures software applications are error-free and meet functional requirements Participate in all aspects of testing at all levels, including functional, system, regression and load testing Records and reports on testing metrics Responsible for the overall success of testing Follows documentation standards and ensures support documentation is created and updated as necessary for all standard software REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems and 8+ years overall experience 5+ years experience performing QA activities with demonstrated leadership abilities 3+ years experience with E2E automation testing using Cypress and other tools/frameworks like Selenium, TestNG and Cucumber 3+ years experience with API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger Experience managing CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Git, Jenkins, and .YML Experience with database testing, preferably in SQL Server Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment Demonstrated ability to mentor other QA team members Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to interact with IT personnel and Product Owners on all levels to resolve complex issues and provide solutions in a timely manner Ability to interact effectively as a leader and as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments Regards, Vijay Kumar | Lead Recruiter Trail Blazer Consulting LLC | Astoria, NY 11105 Office: 914-650-4600 Ext: 148 Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst user interface information technology golang trade national Arizona New York Tennessee |
