Position: Business Intelligence Developer Location: Remote(EST-CST Preferred) Duration: 6 months Visa: No H1B/CPT Interview: Video Job Description: As a Senior Qlik Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Qlik Sense data models, apps, and reports, using Qlik Sense best practices and techniques. This includes designing dynamic and efficient Qlik ETL processes, working with Qlik Admins on architecture requirements, writing Qlik ETL load script, setting up and optimizing QMC tasks, creating complex set analysis expressions, working with business teams to create new sheet content, working with UI programmers on mashups, and designing and rolling out Qlik solutions to end users. Job Responsibilities Design, test, debug, and maintain dynamic Qlik extract/transform processes Work with SQL developers to structure data warehouse tables and views for optimized Qlik consumption Create and maintain external Qlik load script files Create dynamic, automated Qlik task flows using QMC Design, test, debug, and maintain complex Qlik variables and set analysis expressions Create/modify new master items and variables as needed Work with product team to create new sheet content as needed Unit test all changes prior to moving to stage and prod Work closely with Qlik Admins on server architecture/optimization, configuration settings, security rules, data/app moves, etc. Work closely with UI developer on Qlik UI/mashup layer Utilize Qlik version control software and best practices Automate manual processes using PowerShell, Java Script, Qlik APIs, etc. Mentor and cross-train other members of the team Job Requirements 8 - 10 years prior experience in BI/data warehouse or related IT industry experience 5 - 7 years prior experience with Qlik Sense client-managed software Advanced experience with creating and optimizing Qlik load script and data models Advanced experience with creating and optimizing Qlik set analysis code and variables Experience working with Qlik QMC tasks, apps, nodes, etc. Experience with Qlik section analysis and QMC security rules Qlik Data Architect and Business Analyst training (certifications highly preferred) Experience with Qlik ODAG and Dynamic Views preferred Experience with/knowledge of Qlik APIs preferred Experience engineering large and complex data analytics platforms Experience with RDMS such as MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Vertica, etc. Experience with Jira preferred CIA Report Manager experience preferred Experience working with Healthcare member and claims data Good knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH data privacy and security practices and laws Ability to support after hours work activities Preferred Qualifications BA / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, and/or equivalent industry experience Strong written and oral communication skills Strong presentation and interpersonal skills Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Best Regards Md.
