The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our MS SQL databases, performing T-SQL programming, triaging technical issues, and handling customer support requests related to a legacy .NET application. This role requires a deep understanding of MS SQL Server, proficiency in T-SQL, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure high levels of performance and user satisfaction. Issue Triage and Technical Support: Act as the first point of contact for identifying and troubleshooting database-related issues. Prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal impact on operations and customer satisfaction. Customer and Internal Support: Respond to customer inquiries and support tickets with technical guidance and solutions. Work closely with the agency to understand requirements and deliver support needed for database and application functionalities. T-SQL Development: Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers for data manipulation and to support application needs. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation for database setups, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Proven experience in MS SQL Server database administration and T-SQL programming. Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices. Ability to effectively triage and resolve complex database issues. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members.
