Role: Product Owner Location: Atlanta, GA (Locals Only) Duration: Contract Visa: Only H1b (pp no Mandatory) Role Description: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive product development from conception to delivery. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining product requirements, prioritizing features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives. Translate business requirements and user needs into clear and actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize product backlog items based on value, dependencies, and strategic alignment, and ensure that the team understands the priorities and goals. Work closely with development teams, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define product features, functionality, and user experience. Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, providing clarification, guidance, and support throughout the product development lifecycle. Conduct regular sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review meetings to ensure that the team is aligned on priorities and committed to delivering value. Collaborate with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure that product features meet quality standards and user expectations. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and proactively address them to ensure timely delivery of product increments. Engage with customers, gather feedback, and incorporate it into product planning and development to continuously improve product quality and usability. Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of [insert number] years of experience in product management or product ownership roles. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working in Agile development environments. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering software products or digital solutions from concept to launch. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize competing demands effectively. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including development, design, QA, and marketing teams. Knowledge of product management tools and techniques, such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar tools. Certification in product management (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Pragmatic Marketing Certified, or similar) is a plus but not required.
