Role- Power BI Developer Location- NYC Mode- Hybrid Domain- Investment Banking Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for BI solutions. Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations that provide actionable insights for investment banking operations. Utilize DAX and other Power BI features to create complex calculations, measures, and KPIs tailored to investment banking metrics. Integrate data from various sources including internal databases, external APIs, and third-party data providers to ensure comprehensive data analysis. Optimize performance and usability of Power BI reports through data modeling, query optimization, and visualization enhancements. Develop and maintain documentation including data dictionaries, technical specifications, and user guides for BI solutions. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence, data visualization, and investment banking to continuously improve BI solutions. Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate adoption and utilization of Power BI solutions. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Power BI Developer with a focus on investment banking. Strong proficiency in Power BI including Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service, and Power BI Desktop. Solid understanding of investment banking processes, products, and terminology. Experience working with financial data including securities, transactions, market data, and regulatory reporting. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Certifications in Power BI and/or investment banking (e.g., CFA, Series 7) are a plus.
