Position: Java GCP Developer Location: Saint Louis, MO (Complete Onsite) 10+ Years of Experience is needed GCP Cert. Mandatory Skill Hands-on expertise on GCP Java Spring boot Java Senior Engineer to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading financial services organization in the US. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in the team. The candidate must have experience in analysis, design, development, maintenance and support activities. Responsibilities: Reviews Technology requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions. Provides engineering support in the conceptualization, development, implementation and automation of technical capabilities and products. Writing and implementing efficient code Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices Participate in collaborative technical discussions that focus on software user experience, design, architecture, and development Perform demonstrations for client stakeholders on project features and sub features, which utilizes the latest Front end and Backend development technologies Perform production support, troubleshoot production issues, analyze the root cause of the issues and fix them. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Confer with other systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Conduct technical reviews with other programmers, technologists and technicians and other engineering and scientific personnel. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance. Report any issues with the client stakeholders and UST leadership Requirements: BS degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding GCP certification preferred. Experience with one or more Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform (preferred) 6 plus years of experience in designing and developing Java/J2EE applications using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring XD and Hibernate Strong experience with front-end UI technologies, i.e. JavaScript, React, AngularJS, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS Experience with Big data platforms such as Hadoop and Apache Spark Knowledge of Postgres/ Oracle / MySQL / NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4J) DevOps experience and a solid understanding of the CI/CD concepts and experience in continuous integration build tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA, Nexus, Confluence, GIT-BitBucket, Maven, Gradle, RunDeck, is a plus) A solid understanding of security practices Experience in Unit and Automation testing (Jasmine, Protractor, JUnit) Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Thanks, and Regards Himanshu Sharma | Talent Acquisition Specialist Amaze Systems Inc.
