CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL TO TX JOB DETAILS - 8-Required IT program management experience: Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Developing clear, concise project documentation. Team management through team meetings, task assignment, mentoring, facilitation and training. 8-Required Progress monitoring and use of risk management practices. An ability to keep leadership informed on project issues and progress. Effective management of resources in a mixed functional and matrixed project environment. 8-Required Expert problem resolution skills. Comprehensive experience with Waterfall and Agile project management lifecycles (analysis and planning to development and deployment/implementation). 8-Required Successful management of complex projects with a multi-year budget of $10 million or more. 8-Required Experience with Microsoft Project, Office, Visio, and dashboard tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau. 8-Required Experience with multi-step selection methods. 8-Required Experience with managing multiple competing priorities, conflict management, and negotiation/facilitation. 5-Preferred Experience leading highly complex strategic transformation and business-process re-engineering efforts. 5-Preferred Experience in highly complex IT procurements with a Texas state agency. 3-Preferred Work experience managing matrixed organizational and cross-divisional initiatives. 3-Preferred Work experience managing projects for state and federal agencies. 2-Preferred Work experience in Medicaid/Healthcare industry. 1-Preferred Certified Texas Contract Developer/Manager preferred.
