Only Locals Role: Dot Net Developer with CICS/COBOL Experience Location: Hartford, CT || Hybrid Experience:10 years & Above Client: State of CT Job Description: The project that we are gearing up for is the refactoring of a mainframe application to a modern underlying infrastructure. The candidate will be expected to assist with the transition of the legacy mainframe application from CICS, COBOL, VSam to a .NET framework, C#, SQL environment. The ideal candidate: 1. will be proficient in .NET, C#, and SQL 2. must have a strong understanding of CICS, COBOL, VSam to support the legacy system transition 3. will additionally have strong skills for developing RESTful API's to support data exchange between various systems SCOPE OF WORK What does the project / work entail.
