We have an Urgent Requirement For Job Title: Analyst/Developer (ServiceNow Developer) On (W2) Client: Caterpillar Location: East Peoria, IL, Nashville, TN, or Dallas TX; In office 5 days a week Duration: 12 months Job Description: The Cybersecurity Engineering team at Caterpillar is seeking a skilled ServiceNow developer and administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the configuration of ServiceNow modules, including Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Vendor Risk Management (VRM). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT service management standards and possess expertise in ServiceNow development and administration. This position requires 5 days a week in the office, with potential for flexibility based on organizational needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, maintain, and support solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Collaborate with process owners to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues. Work closely with other team members on design, peer code reviews, and testing. Provide ideas and recommendations on utilizing the ServiceNow tool to solve business objectives effectively. Administer ServiceNow, including modifying workflows, business rules, UI components, ACLs, catalog items, and updates. Interaction with Team: You will collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, Scrum masters, functional analysts, and Work directors. Work Environment: The position is based in Dallas, TX; East Peoria, IL; or Nashville, TN. Candidates are required to be in the office 5 days a week. Education & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree with 8 years of IT experience (5 years in ServiceNow Development). Alternatively, a candidate without a degree would need 10+ years of experience (5 years in ServiceNow Development). Master's degree with 6+ years of IT experience (5 years in ServiceNow Development). Technical Skills: 5+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, including configuration of modules such as GRC and Vendor Risk Management. 5+ years of experience administering ServiceNow, including workflow modification, business rules, UI components, ACLs, catalog items, and updates. Desired Skills: Experience with ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance is preferred but not required. Certified System Administrator (CSA) qualification from ServiceNow. Experience implementing systems using Agile/Scrum methodology. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of IT service management standards. Knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and latest features. Adaptability to work in a varied, fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills. Disqualifiers/Red Flags: Inability to work in the office 5 days a week. Choppy tenure on resumes unless specifically detailed as project/contract work. Lack of current location on the resume. Inability to relocate locally at own expense if not currently residing locally. Interview Process: Two-round interview process: 30-minute screening followed by a 1-hour interview.
