The ideal candidate should have experience in computer systems analysis or computer programming work as well as the following: Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and systems design; of computer operations, systems, and procedures; of project control and cost estimating techniques; of computer programming languages; of data processing flowcharting techniques; of database structures and theories; and of current database technologies. Working knowledge of EIR Accessibility standards and assistive technologies. Ensures that user interfaces for database administration and inputting, viewing, outputting data (via reports) are compliant with accessibility standards. Provides support to users in obtaining data / information when EIR Accessibility issues arise. M204 database experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Minimum Requirements Current resident of the Austin, Texas metropolitan area. 5 yrs. experience with database management systems, as well as data warehouse management and decision support tools. 5 yrs. extensive experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of data warehouses and data marts is desired. 5 yrs. experience working with business objects and in building the data dictionary. 5 yrs. experience with data base access tools for application delivery 5 yrs. experience with analyzing, planning and management reporting functions 5 yrs. experience applying a high level of analytical ability where problems are very unusual and extremely difficult. 5 yrs. experience with benchmarking processes and techniques 5 yrs. experience in Data Warehousing data population and data modeling techniques for target structures such as Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and highly normalized data models 5 yrs. experience in GUI based ETL tools such as Informatica, IBM WebSphere DataStage, or similar tools. 5 yrs. of implementation experience with enterprise class databases e.g. Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, etc. or similar technologies. 5 yrs. experience in Implementation experience with analytical and reporting tools e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy or similar tools. 5 yrs. experience in Experience with data warehouse implementation process, from business requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, Structured Query Language (SQL), end-user tools, database and SQL pe 5 yrs. of implementation experience with analytical and reporting tools e.g. Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy or similar tools.
