Job Title: Project Manager with Loan systems Location: New York Or New Jersey - Onsite (Local Only) Duration: 12+ Months Visa: No H1B & Opt, Cpt *** We need: A senior (10+ years) Project Manager who has lead loan projects from end to end. They are implementing nCino and AFS (Huge Plus) but any loan Product with end-to-end experience will work. **Candidates must have Long Projects/Good Tenure, Excellent communication skills and a State issued ID (Not Bills) showing they are Local. Managers Notes Works with the PMO Director, CIO, I.T. management, I.T. staff, and business leads to manage projects across the enterprise I.T. project portfolio. Initial project will be focused on End-to-End Implementation of a new Loan Product. (nCino and AFS) Could also have experience with End-to-End Migration of a Loan Technology Stack: Meaning all components (Origination, Servicing, Database and Core). Should have experience working on highly governance types of organizations. Responsible for Budgets and Timeline Risks. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage loan-related projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a strong background in managing projects related to loan origination, processing, and servicing. Proficiency with nCino and/or AFS platforms is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Lead and manage end-to-end loan projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables. Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively, and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure project success. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and status updates with project team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency. Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders and senior management through regular reports and presentations. Manage and resolve conflicts, escalations, and dependencies effectively to maintain project momentum and alignment with strategic objectives. Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies related to loan origination and servicing processes. Mentor and coach junior project team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) preferred. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on loan origination and servicing. Extensive experience with nCino and/or AFS platforms, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities. Strong understanding of loan lifecycle processes, including origination, underwriting, closing, and servicing. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across organizational levels. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
