Job Description: The project manager will focus on promoting the Agile Mindset and Agile Marketing Values and Principles within the organization and will coach the team(s) to these. They will be responsible for protecting the teams' capacity from distractions while reinforcing the application of Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks, facilitating ceremonies, and removing impediments to the process or the mindset as they arise. This is a peer role within Strategy Brand teams, focusing on managing "how the team interacts," and partnering closely with the Marketing Owner role to ready the team's backlog. Agile leads need to be planners, problem solvers, forward thinkers, navigators of the organization, connectors of people, and info gatherers. We are seeking a project manager who is local to the area and can occasionally be onsite, responsible for overseeing multiple workstreams aligned with Red/Purple team testing, cybersecurity training, tabletops, and malware remediation/threat hunting. Responsibilities: Promote the Agile Mindset and Agile Marketing Values and Principles within the organization and coach the team(s) to these principles. Protect the teams' capacity from distractions while reinforcing the application of Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks. Facilitate ceremonies and remove impediments to the process or mindset as they arise. Help build knowledge and practical understanding of Agile best practices and JIRA in teams and the wider organization. Champion Agile Frameworks like Scrum and Kanban, including roles, events, and artifacts, to help the organization, including the teams and stakeholders, understand their value. Encourage data-driven decision-making and experimentation with a test and learn approach. Provide consistent and impactful feedback to individuals and teams as a whole, related to Agile Ways of Working Regularly assess Agile maturity and actively coach to higher levels of growth Use JIRA proficiently, creating queries and filters to quickly find and manage issues, and support onboarding new team members. Ensure the backlog is groomed, upcoming work is detailed, defined, and 'Ready' for the team to pick up Typically work 2-4 sprints out on gathering requirements, meeting with stakeholders, and defining dependencies Ensure the backlog is ready for Sprint Planning meetings. Understand general marketing tactics, processes, and requirements for the execution of tactics. Requirements: Excellent communication skills Strong time management skills Organizational awareness in project management Effective problem-solving skills Leadership skills SCRUM certification preferred.
