Experience with running virtualized Linux based systems within a VMware environment. Knowledge and experience with VMwares Tanzu platform In accordance with the change management policy, make changes to system software and hardware so that performance meets companys objectives and maintain SLAs. Experience with implementing and maintaining anti-virus for Linux based systems like RPM, DEB, etc. Experience in patching and maintaining Linux based systems. Manage and apply necessary system security access. Analyze performance indicators to ensure that systems are operating efficiently. Advance knowledge of Linux based servers and associated products. Build and maintain Linux based servers and associated applications in a highly available, scalable, and secure environment. Basic knowledge of DNS/SAN/WAN/LAN networking Experience working with Azure, or other cloud-based platforms. Provide support, troubleshooting, and design of our cloud environment. Experience with Tomcat and Apache Exposure and experience with cloud-based platforms as an extension of the Linux based server environment. Perform root cause analysis for Linux based servers. Team player and ability to work well with others. Experience working in the Healthcare Industry will be an added advantage. After hours and weekend work at times required. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
