| Role: Database Architect/Expert - Dallas TX Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Expert to join our team for a retail client project. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in database management and design, with a strong ability to create and maintain Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams across various databases. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain database systems for retail client projects. Develop and optimize database schemas, tables, and views based on project requirements. Create and maintain detailed Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams for various databases, including relational and non-relational databases. Analyze and optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques. Ensure data integrity and security across database systems. Collaborate with development teams to integrate database solutions into retail applications. Provide technical guidance and support to project teams on database-related issues. Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in database management and design. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a database administrator or database developer, with expertise in database management and design. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server. Familiarity with non-relational databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB. Strong understanding of database normalization, indexing, and optimization techniques. Experience creating and maintaining Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams using tools such as Erwin, Lucidchart, Visio, or Draw.io. Knowledge of data modeling concepts and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
