The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), expertise in advanced networking protocols, hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, and proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform. Responsibilities: 1. Cloud Architecture Design: - Architect, design, and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions in Azure and AWS environments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud architecture. 2. Networking Protocols and Security: - Demonstrate expertise in advanced networking protocols, including but not limited to BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN. - Design and implement robust security measures, including Palo Alto Firewalls, to safeguard cloud-based applications and data. 3. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): - Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform, to automate the provisioning and management of cloud infrastructure. - Implement and advocate best practices for versioning, testing, and deploying infrastructure code. 4. Collaboration and Leadership: - Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers in the development and implementation of cloud networking solutions. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of cloud architecture with business goals and objectives. 5. Performance Optimization: - Implement monitoring and optimization strategies to enhance the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of cloud networking infrastructure. Qualifications: bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, with a focus on Azure or AWS. 5+ years experience with Palo Alto Firewalls or similar next gen security appliances. Advanced understanding of networking protocols, security principles, and infrastructure as code concepts. Hands-on experience with Terraform for automating infrastructure deployments. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) is a plus.
