Washington St. Phoenix, AZ 85003 12 months Must be local to Phoenix In person interview is a must US Citizens only KEY JOB DUTIES Define the project by performing complex analysis of problems and potential solutions Adherence to the Governance process by engaging stakeholders, preparing status reports and briefings Conduct project planning exercises to prepare the project budget, procurement, and resources Vendor Management tasks, including deliverable acceptance, milestone payment, contract adherence, and escalations Budget Management and tracking Create, track, and deliver project timelines, tasks, and metrics Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications Hybrid work environment where physical presence may be required within City MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Seven (7) years as project lead with responsible experience in IT infrastructure projects, implementations, interface redesign, testing, and change management across multiple software subsystems. Recent large-scale IT/infrastructure systems experience with upgrades, conversion or software experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. All position finalists are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
