The job description is Job Title: Netapp Administrator Location: Plano TX(Onsite) Duration: Long term Client: Hexaware Job description 24/7 rotational shift (Shift 1 (8 AM 5 PM), Shift 2 (4 PM 1 AM), Shift 3 (12 AM 9 AM)) Technology: Skills and Qualifications: 8-12 years' experience in Core Storage & Backup Administration including Architecture level understanding Knowledge of Netapp storage administration, commissioning, migration Strong Knowledge of Netapp replications, backups, Netapp Cloud Strong Knowledge of Nasuni storage administration, commissioning, and day to day operations Knowledge of Synology storage administration, commissioning, and day to day operations Knowledge of Dell storage administration, commissioning, and day to day operations Knowledge of various storage tools such as system manager, cloud manager, NMC. Knowledge of managing and troubleshooting storage issues like performance, access related issues. Capacity management Knowledge of upgrade processes of storages Strong Knowledge of Netbackup tools administration Strong knowledge of master server, media server, clients, disk pool, tape backups and their deployment Strong Handson of Netbackup day to day issues and troubleshooting Knowledge of Backup exec tools administration Strong Handson of Backup exec day to day issues and troubleshooting Knowledge of Veeam tools administration Strong Handson of Veeam backup day to day issues and troubleshooting Experience in managing backup policies creation, updates, deletion Experience in backup restoration from tapes or disk-based backup Experience in DR solution design, build, implementation for storage & backup Experience in Catalog Backups and importing Images Monitoring and coordinating with different teams for backup job failures Troubleshooting Tape library related issues by working with the Data Center Operators/Tape Library Vendors. License reporting of Netbackup. Knowledge of operating system windows, linux to install the backup tools and troubleshoot the backup failures.
