| Senior Quality Assurance Lead (Oracle/Oracle Fusion) Location:Onsite in Santa Clara, California Position Type Contractor (6 months) Only H1B Candidates Citrix Oracle team is needing a resource for a project one of the business units that merged with the company last year currently have an ERP system which is Oracle E business Suite. They are implementing everything in cloud so they are moving from Oracle Ebus to Oracle Fusion. During the sit faze the responsibilities would include meeting with vendors who have testers. Coordinating with the vending team and the CSG Oracle team to make sure the testing is performed in different business units (supply chain, finance, procurement etc.) It is because of this that there is a need for good communication and coordination skills. Top Skills/Requirements 5+ years of leading QA testing projects in large enterprise environments Must possess experience with Oracle Fusion application, inclusive of its implementation Must possess experience with the following Oracle Cloud modules: Financials (GL, AP, AR, IDR, Fixed Assets, Cash management), Subscription Management, PPM, HCM, EPM, Procurement Must possess experience with integration testing and functional/ usability testing across different platforms Must possess experience with bug tracking tools Experience with providing clear status reporting and quality metrics on several testing workstreams Experience with Agile development methodology, continuous integration, and JIRA or Confluence Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to liaison with business/stakeholders, users, other technical teams, and management to provide testing related updates Preferred Skills Automation experience Job Description This position is for leading the testing efforts for Oracle Cloud Fusion implementation. The test lead is responsible for designing testing procedures, developing, and documenting test cases and building automation test scripts to test, troubleshoot, and debug complex software applications. Test lead should create and maintain overall end to end test plan and oversee execution throughout SDLC while accounting for automation, performance and scalability. Ensure all activities comply with testing best practices and adheres to company policies, procedures and guidelines. Work closely with onsite/offshore team members across different teams to manage/resolve issues and make sure that the product satisfies the user requirements and works as desired within the defined timelines. Duties and Responsibilities Drive the delivery of quality assurance services through adherence to established SDLC standards and process methodology. Work with several quality assurance teams and facilitate overall system testing efforts Responsible for all testing phases of SDLC including component testing, SIT, UAT and go live support through regression testing, performance testing, advanced aspects of system testing. Coordinate across several business teams as part of UAT support and ensure the execution is streamlined. Support deployment planning and lead post deployment testing. Provide post release hypercare support. Participate in meetings with the business analysts and development teams. Analyze Requirements and Design documentation; understand business/functional requirements and constraints, identify potential risks to quality, identify ambiguities or omissions, and ensure testability. Prepare test execution estimates and plan test execution schedules. Provide clear and regular updates on testing related risks and mitigation strategies to project stakeholders. Work effectively with onsite/ offshore testing teams to ensure detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases are delivered. Deliver overall test plan and testing strategy for planned phases and testing cycles Manage bug tracking and coordinate the work with development/design teams to help isolate, debug and resolve bugs. Lead defect review/ triage calls in all testing phases and collaborate with cross functional teams. Work with test engineers and identify opportunities to scale up test automation to reduce manual testing efforts Deliver quality metrics and communicate to management/ business stakeholders on testing status. Work with project management to keep track of testing deliverables and ensure milestones are met.
