At least 3 years of experience writing Ansible playbooks and working with Ansible Tower for automation and configuration management. Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification Needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as a Red Hat Linux Engineer or System Administrator in a corporate IT environment, with a strong focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). At least 3 years of experience writing Ansible playbooks and working with Ansible Tower for automation and configuration management. Strong troubleshooting skills with a proven track record of resolving complex issues in RHEL environments. Expertise in supporting Logical Volume Manager (LVM) configurations, including volume creation, resizing, and snapshot management. Proficiency in all aspects of RHEL system administration, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, with a strong emphasis on reliability and scalability. Advanced scripting skills with Bash, Python, Yaml, along with experience utilizing configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef. Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and security practices, with the ability to design and implement secure network architectures. Extensive experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, as well as familiarity with cloud computing platforms (Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Must Have: Experience maintaining RedHat Enterprise LINUX (RHEL) in a Production Enterprise environment. Senior LINUX Engineer (Minimum 7+ Exp with RedHat LINUX) Experienced LINUX OS Troubleshooting Skills. Knowledgeable in Ansible (Minimum 3+ Exp writing and administering Ansible Playbooks) Strong Working Knowledge of LINUX Logic Volume Manger (LVM) Working knowledge of basic VMWare supporting LINUX VMs. Experience in automation techniques and scripting. (Ansible, TerraForm, Bash). Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and execute technical project plans. Experience with orchestration tools. Experience with enterprise managing monitoring. Experience working in a on physical server and virtual hosted environments. Good understanding of ITIL and ITSM Management with Infrastructure and Operations teams.
