The Lead Data and Platform Integration Engineer in Risk Quant Analytics Team owns the responsibility of gathering requirements from business teams and coordinating technical changes with development and infrastructure teams to meet the needs of the business.

An individual in the role will need to adapt in both developer tools/processes and versed in multiple technology disciplines. The role will also mentor engineers on all aspects of design and how to adapt to changing requirements with best practices to present supportable solutions while staying fiscally responsible to the company.

Primary Responsibilities:

Consult, communicate, and gain acceptance with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical requirements.

Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure end to end support for design, implementation, and operations. Solutions should support end to end success.

Facilitate the implementation of new solutions or technologies by operations & engineering teams and providing subject matter expertise in an educational and supportive manner.

Perform coding, debugging, analysis and planning

Being open minded and willing to learn new technologies

Assess new products and solutions, and document plan and procedures

Build partnerships with users, business, developers and technology teams to help ensure the success of the company via existing and emerging technologies.

Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents Needed for Success:

Minimum of 5 years of related experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Technical Qualifications

Knowledge in database technologies like Snowflake, SQL Server or similar

Strong expertise in creating, tuning SQL queries and developing PL/SQL packages

Experience in programming language Python

 Knowledge in data integration tool Talend 

Experienced in scheduling tools like Autosys or similar

Good understanding of cloud technologies AWS and/or Azure

Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, experience presenting to wide range of audiences.
