Whats the major objective(s) of the role Specifically, what does this person need to do to be considered a success What will they be working on Design and write Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Cases, Test Scripts and execute Test Cases with reference to the Business Requirements, Design Specifications and Functional Requirements. Update the Test Cases based on the Requirement Changes and execute the Test Cases. Develop and execute SQL Queries to extract and validate the data in the QA environments. Execute backend tests using SQL queries to extract data from the database. QA testing of web applications, Salesforce, API using Postman. Analyze and interpret test results and application logs to determine system behavior. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and research application/system issues as required and propose solutions to problems; provide resolution in a timely and accurate way, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Work with Software Quality Assurance team members and technology leads to identify the appropriate data needed for testing is identified within the timeframe of testing milestones. Document, communicate, and work to resolve all defects found during testing. Ensure defects are entered within the DentaQuest Enterprise Defect Tracking System with an appropriate sense of urgency and monitor/track progress through resolution. Ensure the scope of testing for requirements are complete and functional testing is accurate to meet the business needs. Facilitate communications and/or meetings as needed to ensure all information has been received, content understood and any additional information needed has been provided 2. What are the MUST HAVE technologies for this position (Please list must have technologies / technical skills and what the candidate needs to do in order to be considered great at them) 1. Technical skills including basic SQL queries and expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to write and execute SQL queries using various joins. 2. API Testing using Postman for Get and Post Methods 3. Good Knowledge of the Salesforce Application. Ability to run workbench SOQL queries. 4. Proficient testing front-end applications for our portals. 3. What are the MUST HAVE Critical Skills for this position (For critical skills, please also describe what the person needs to do with them in order to be considered very good at it.) 1. Strong critical thinking attributes with ability to reprioritize workload or escalate issues as needed with minimal intervention. 2. Ability to multi-task, coordinating several client projects at a given time. 3. Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral and written communication skills. 4. Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to details. 4. What are the Preferred technologies you wouldnt mind seeing on a candidates resume 1. Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops Application for Test Case Management 2. Experience using automated testing tools such as Selenium and Javascript . 3. Knowledge of automation writing scripts and running regression testing Requirements: Must be analytical and must have SQL, SMS, Azure Devops or Jira and an understanding of REST APIs.
