Position : Production Support Engineer Location : St. Petersburg, Florida ( work from office 1-2 days a week ) Duration : 11 Months Rate : $55/Hr on C2C Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Production Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems through effective production support activities. Additionally, there will be opportunities to contribute to minor enhancements utilizing Python, AWS, and Snowflake technologies. Responsibilities: Production Support: Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve incidents. Monitor system performance and implement preventive measures. Minor Enhancements: Develop minor enhancements to existing systems using Python programming language. Leverage AWS services for optimizing and enhancing system functionalities. Utilize Snowflake for data-related enhancements and optimizations. Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to enhance overall system reliability. Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of production support activities and enhancements. Develop and update knowledge base articles for common issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in production support roles. Proficiency in Python programming language. Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud-based solutions. Experience working with Snowflake for data management and analytics. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: AWS certification is a plus. Previous experience in implementing minor enhancements to existing systems.
