Work Model: Onsite from Day1 Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Jira Developer: We are seeking a skilled Jira Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in configuring, customizing, and maintaining Jira to meet the organization's needs. The Jira Developer will collaborate with various teams to design and implement solutions, automate processes, and optimize workflows using Jira and associated plugins. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities: Customize and configure Jira instances to align with business processes and requirements. Develop and maintain Jira workflows, screens, fields, permission schemes, and issue types. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Jira. Design and implement automation scripts, post functions, validators, and listeners using Jira scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Jython). Integrate Jira with other tools and systems within the organization's ecosystem. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Jira-related issues. Develop and maintain Jira plugins and customizations to extend platform functionality. Stay updated with the latest Jira features, plugins, and best practices. Document configurations, customizations, and processes related to Jira usage. Train and mentor team members on Jira usage and best practices. Requirements: Proven experience as a Jira Developer, with at least 10 years of hands-on experience. In-depth knowledge of Jira administration, configuration, and customization. Proficiency in Jira scripting languages such as Groovy, Jython, or JavaScript. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and how they relate to Jira usage. Experience with integrating Jira with other tools and systems (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in developing Jira plugins using Atlassian SDK is a plus.
