| Hi Everyone, Below is my current requirement with client. PLS GO THRU THE REQUIREMENT CAREFULLY TO SHARE THE RESUME. Title: Oracle DBA Client: State of Texas Location: Remote( Candidate must live in State of Texas) Bill Rate: $65-70/hr on c2c. 1. Good experience with Shell Scripting. -writing shell scripts to automate various database management tasks. - Modify/debug existing scripts 2. Good Logical DBA skills - Design a new database/new tables based on Application needs. - Help application teams to improve query performance -Ensure data security and privacy using techniques such as data masking when production data need to be used in development and test environments. -Good experience with data migration techniques to move data from one environment to another. 3. Need to work collaboratively with other teams in the Enterprise. Need to work hand-in-hand with the Physical DBA team. This team is responsible for creating new database instances, taking backups, upgrading and patching Oracle DBMS software ect -Need to work with the Load and Stress Testing team. This team is responsible for conducting load and stress testing for all applications. They work closely with the logical DBA team to conduct the load test and performance review, move the database to previous state to conduct the test again etc. 4. Agile development environment. - 3-to-4-week sprints and therefore need to be quick and agile. -While supporting the current sprint need to prepare the environment for the next sprint. 5. Large production environment. -Agency supports mission critical applications supporting a large number of users. - All production issues need to be analyzed and resolved quickly. 6. Current & Future -Currently using Orcle 19C on Linux platform. -Work is underway to lift and shift this environment to AWS cloud. -After the completion of the Lift & Shift phase, the plan is to move from Oracle to Postgres for transactional databases and from Oracle to Snowflakes for Datamart/Reporting system. - Experience with AWS, Postgres, and Snowflake experience is a plus.
