Location: 600 Washington St, Boston MA 02111 Location Details: no onsite parking for contractors; public trans accessible Day to Day: The Office of Refugees and Immigrants (ORI) is an agency at the Executive Office of Health & Human Service (EOHHS) that administers programs that provide direct services to clients through a network of providers, including resettlement agencies, faith-based organizations, and ethnic community-based organizations, which have the capacity to serve the culturally and linguistically diverse needs of newcomer populations. ORIs mission is to promote the full participation of refugees and immigrants as self-sufficient individuals and families in Massachusetts's economic, social, and civic life. The project's purpose is to replace the current system with a modern Salesforce-based solution that enables ORI to support refugees and immigrants by enabling timely data reporting from community partners, providing analytics to make data-driven decisions, automating processes to improve the quality of programs and services, and increasing engagement with clients. The selected candidate from the Commonwealth will lead this project and work with a vendor to implement the solution. This role ensures that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to specified requirements and quality standards. Must Haves: Certified Salesforce Professional (e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Developer, Certified Salesforce Architect). JOB DUTIES (Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities) Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and communication strategies. Manage project schedules, tasks, and dependencies using appropriate project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Facilitate project kick-off meetings, progress updates, and regular status reporting. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to Salesforce Service Cloud best practices, coding standards, and security protocols. Collaborate with developers, architects, and administrators to design and implement the Salesforce solution. Identify and resolve technical issues and risks throughout the project lifecycle. Manage and coordinate the activities of cross-functional teams, including internal resources and external vendors/partners. Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including business users, executives, and technical teams, and facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders. Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and testing methodologies. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that requirements are met before project delivery. Ensure proper documentation of project requirements, designs, configurations, and processes. Maintain a centralized knowledge base for project artifacts and technical documentation. Contribute to developing organizational standards, guidelines, and best practices for Salesforce implementation and maintenance. REQUIRED SKILLS (Special Skill Set, Abilities, Knowledge): - Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform, customization options, and integration capabilities. Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a dynamic environment with internal and external stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail. Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Years Experience, Certificates): - Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
