This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful migration from a collection of smaller systems to an integrated Workday environment, encompassing Workday Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Adaptive Planning, and Capital Projects modules. This resource will step in the middle of the project to make sure they hit their go live of December 1. They are looking for this person to help manage the internal team and SI. Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Duties: Project Management: Lead the project management activities for the Workday implementation, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases. Data Migration: Oversee the data migration process from various systems to Workday, addressing and resolving any issues that arise to ensure a smooth transition. Vendor Management: Utilize your vendor management background to liaise effectively Change Management: Implement change management strategies and processes to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes across the organization. Testing Oversight: Ensure thorough unit testing of Workday modules by coordinating with the implementer and internal teams, reviewing test plans, and addressing any gaps identified. Configuration Support: Provide oversight and strategic guidance to the implementer during the configuration phase of Workday modules, ensuring alignment with organizational needs. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, communicate project progress, and address concerns. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
