Position: Azure DevOps Engineer Location: Grand rapids, MI (onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Skills: Clear understanding of the functionality offered by each of the Azure Services below, and experience defining CI/CD processes to deploy the infrastructure and the code / functionality / data in these services:o Azure Functionso Azure Databrickso Azure Data Factoryo Azure Logic Appso Azure Synapse Analyticso Azure Data Warehouseo Azure Storage Accountso Azure Key Vaulto Entra ID - Service Principals Clear understanding of GIT and branch strategy options. Experience leading DevOps-focused process improvements from planning to execution. Excellent technical communication skills to present process improvement designs to a broad group of technical leads and other architects. Experience writing Power scripts to automate DevOps-related tasks and deployments. Experience writing complex YAML Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline definitions. Experience managing Classic Pipelines and Classic Release Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline definitions. Experience writing Terraform scripts for managing IAC (Infrastructure as Code). Experience using Azure CLI to manage Azure cloud resources. Experience using Azure Power Cmdlets to manage Azure cloud resources. Experience writing or updating ARM Template definitions for deploying Azure resources. Expertise in using all modules of Azure DevOps CI/CD tooling:o Boardso Repositorieso Pipelines (Classic and YAML)o Library Variableso Repositories and Branch policieso Team and Group permissions Excellent analytical skills to review the current DevOps landscape and come up with improvement processes and introduce new emerging technologies. A self-driven, motivated individual who can coordinate with Development, Infrastructure, or Architect teams for carrying out the execution of a DevOps process improvement. Familiar with GitHub Enterprise. Experience writing YAML GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline definitions. Experience defining team policies in GitHub Enterprise. Experience using the SonarQube tool for code quality scans in CI/CD processes. Experience using Veracode tool for code security scans in CI/CD processes. Familiar with the Azure Fabric Service. Education: At least a bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.
