As part of this initiative, we aim to build and enrich our digital platform and create a best-in-class engineering platform with 100% automation. The QE Engineer will play a crucial role in defining and building the automation framework in collaboration with QE architects. Responsibilities: Collaborate with QE architects to define and build an automation framework for customer-facing applications, including e-commerce websites and mobile apps. Write and develop QA automation from scratch using JavaScript, ensuring the reliability and performance of our digital platform. Develop test automation for applications built using behavior-driven development (BDD) principles, leveraging Cucumber and Gherkin language. Build and maintain automated testing for APIs to ensure the integrity and functionality of our backend systems. Work closely with development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Identify and address gaps in test coverage, contributing to the overall quality assurance strategy. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience writing and developing QA automation from scratch in JavaScript for customer-facing applications, such as e-commerce websites and mobile apps. Demonstrated experience writing test automation for applications built using behavior-driven development (BDD) principles in Cucumber using Gherkin language. Strong proficiency in building automated testing for APIs, ensuring robustness and reliability. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, automating the testing and deployment process to achieve continuous delivery. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment. MUST HAVE skillsets: Must have experience writing/ developing QA Automation from scratch in Javascript for customer-facing applications such as e-commerce websites and mobile apps Must have experience writing test automation for applications that are built using behavior-driven development (AKA BDD) in Cucumber using Gherkin language.
