Title: Quality Assurance Analyst Location: Tallahassee, FL Duration: Long Term Job Description 1. PURPOSE This scope of work is for the development of new and existing functionalities required to support the Florida Department of Healths (Department) Health Management system (HMS). Contractor will provide these services to the Florida Department of Health (Department). 4. CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENING The Department will conduct a criminal history record check, including fingerprinting, on the consultant assigned by the Contractor prior to the consultant commencing work for the Department. The Department retains sole discretion as to whether the results of the criminal history record check will result in the Contractors employee being disqualified from performing services pursuant to this agreement. 5. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE The selected Contractor must possess the following qualifications and experience: 5.1. 5 years of experience with Agile software development. 5.2. 5 years of experience with software testing. 5.3. 5 years of experience with software testing practices such as test-driven development, unit testing, functional testing, black box testing, white box testing, regression testing, automated testing, integration testing, performance testing, user testing, and pilot testing. 5.4. 5 years of experience writing test cases and test scripts. 5.5. 5 years of experience executing software tests. 5.6. 5 years of experience performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting. 6. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES 6.1. SERVICE TASKS: Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified: 6.1.1 Review application modifications on a daily basis and develop manual testscripts in a Microsoft Word or Excel format to ensure modified application code meets the intended requirements as documented within the work item contained with the departments change and configuration management system and does not negatively affect previously developed application code (regression testing). 6.1.2 Execute manual test scripts within the application, daily, as assigned by the Department and update statuses of assigned work items appropriately in the departments change and configuration management system. 6.1.3 Execute automated test scripts within the application, daily, as assigned by the Department and update statuses of assigned work items appropriately in the departments change and configuration management system. 6.1.4 Document application defects, daily, as assigned by the Department in the departments change and configuration management system. 6.1.5 Provide work estimates, communication and updates for Release Planning, Sprint Planning and Daily Scrum in the time indicated on the work tickets assigned by the Department, to implement system testing of the HMS application. 6.1.6 Document application testing and issues identified in the time indicated on the ticket as testing tasks are assigned by the Department, and store in a documentation repository. 6.1.7 Complete job required training as assigned by the Department. Completion verification may include certificates, sign-in sheets and/or verification via the Department's Learning Management System 6.1.8 DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY TASK: The Contractor, its employees, subcontractors, and agents must comply at all times with all Department data security procedures and policies in the performance of this scope of work as specified in the Data Security and Confidentially document attached to the purchase order. 6.2 DELIVERABLES: Contractor will complete and submit the following deliverables to the Department in the time and manner specified: Monthly: Perform Application Architect services in the time and manner specified in Tasks 6.1.1 6.1.8. 7. REQUIREMENTS FOR RFQ RESPONSE Contractors must address each of the following in its response to this RFQ. Failure to provide all requested information may result in disqualification. The Department reserves the right to reject any response that does not properly address the above requirements, that fails to include the requested information, or that deviates from the requirements of this RFQ in any manner. With ALL candidate submittals, attach a quote on official letterhead, include the following information: name, State of Florida contract number, address, candidate name, hourly rate, etc. This is required. With ALL submittals, make sure EACH candidate resume has a skills matrix referencing their years of experience compared to the Required Experience section of the Scope of Work (SOW). This is required. With ALL candidate submittals, make sure each candidate has completed a current Resume Certification form and the information is authentic and complete. The candidate must sign and both witnesses to the signature must sign the document to be valid. This is required. If submitting more than one candidate for the RFQ, combine all documents into separate submittals for each candidate- Submittals should include: quote for each candidate, candidate resume, corresponding skills matrix, and the resume certification form.
