Role: Network Testing with Automation Location: Richardson, TX (Locals) Duration: Contract Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Tester with Automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive network testing procedures while leveraging automation tools and scripts to streamline testing processes. This role requires expertise in network protocols, testing methodologies, and automation frameworks to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure. Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive network testing plans, including performance, functional, security, scalability, and protocol testing. Design and implement automated testing scripts and frameworks to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather testing requirements, identify test scenarios, and define testing strategies. Analyze test results and identify issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks, and work with relevant teams to resolve them. Maintain and enhance testing environments, tools, and infrastructure to support ongoing testing activities. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in network testing and automation. Document testing procedures, methodologies, and results, and prepare reports for stakeholders. Participate in peer reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing practices and processes. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their professional growth and development. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience (8 years) in network testing, including performance, functional, security, scalability, and protocol testing. Strong proficiency in network protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, etc. Hands-on experience with network testing tools and frameworks, such as Ixia, Spirent, Wireshark, Selenium, Robot Framework, etc. Demonstrated expertise in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar. Solid understanding of network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc. Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (e.g., VMware, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, ISTQB, CISSP, etc.) are highly desirable.
