| Direct client position Position: SQL DBA Location: 100% Remote Duration: 4 Months Agency: Health and Human Services Commission Local to Texas Job Description Level Description 4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Additional job details and special considerations Knowledge of SNOMED, LOINC, HL7 is preferred, but not necessarily required. Knowledge of AWS RDB is preferred, but not required Knowledge of SAS is preferred, but not required. Minimum Qualification: 5 years of Required Experience in Database administration, management, data imports and exports and developing reports. 3 years of Preferred Experience using Microsoft SQL Server. 3 years of Preferred Understanding Data Usage patterns to plan for capacity management. 3 years of Preferred Ability to manage database security, integrity backup procedures, and performance tuning.
