Client : Victoria Secret Job Description : SKILLS MUST BE ON RESUME What are the top 3 to 5 MUST HAVES you are looking for from a candidate Design new applications Language: Java 11, JavaScript IDE: Eclipse, IntelliJ, Spring Tools Suite Web Frameworks: Spring Boot, React JS, Hibernate Web Services: REST What are some disqualifiers Not having built an application from the ground floor Not having led a team of developers Not having the flexibility to work early in the day to accommodate our IST associates. Job Description & Responsibilities Oversees a small team of Victorias Secret developers for approximately 50% of their time and developing code for approximately 50% of their time. The team includes developers in both the USA and India. Design and develop two new web applications in Java, React JS, and Spring Boot. Will work with the Victorias Secret team to architect and design the tools for optimal solutions/performance. Establish coding standards, process for code reviews, code repository, unit testing plan using automation. Monitors project progress and adjusts tactics to improve progress. Reviews all artifacts for quality and on-time delivery. Run/attend daily morning standups with India and USA team. Ability to demonstrate the newly developed web applications to the customer/business partner. Responsible for all the sprint deliverables. Works closely with the functional lead to design and implement desired functionality according to business requirements. Ensures all design deliverables conform with agreed upon specifications to meet business goals, including assisting with end-to-end testing and support of deployment to production. Could you provide a little background on the department and the team they will be working on The department is HR IT department. The team is a project team that will be building new solutions for scheduling and managing payroll spend in the retail stores. The team consists of a functional lead, a technical lead and four developers. Two developers are in Bangalore, therefore there needs to be flexibility to in the work schedule. Start times could be as early as 7:30am ET, when needed.
