Manager of Fixed Assets (Workday) US Citizen 4 days onsite Must have Workday experience (Fixed Asset Module), Accounting Degree, supervisory experience, project management, Excel, and SOX Compliance. Duties include: Manage all aspects of fixed asset accounting for the company. Review fixed asset additions and retirements, depreciation expense, gain/loss on disposals and all related reconciliations. Maintain the companys fixed asset policy and ensure it is in compliance with GAAP. Including assisting and guiding other departments in determining what costs qualify as capitalizable. Prepare and record internal capitalized compensation costs. Prepares account reconciliations for areas assigned. Review/prepare quarterly and annual schedules and analysis for auditors/tax consultants. Ensure company is in compliance with internal SOX controls for areas assigned. Assists in the development of Company accounting policies and process improvement initiatives at store and corporate levels. This position has one direct report with potential to grow in the future as well as 2 indirect reports. Workday Implementation experience working with the implementer and accounting team. Multi-Unit Management Experience with project management and/or implementation. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. Proficient with basic computer applications, including Excel, Word, E-Mail. 10-key by touch required. Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of customers or employees of organization.
