The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both software architecture principles and logistics domain knowledge, particularly in areas such as transportation management, inventory optimization, and supply chain visibility. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and development teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural solutions. Design end-to-end solutions that align with business goals, taking into account factors such as scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Define architecture blueprints, patterns, and standards to guide the development teams in building high-quality software solutions. Conduct technology evaluations and make recommendations for selecting appropriate tools, frameworks, and platforms. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural guidelines. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in both logistics and software development. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, preferably in the logistics industry. Strong proficiency in Java development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and best practices. Extensive knowledge of enterprise application architecture, including microservices, RESTful APIs, messaging systems, and cloud-native technologies. Experience with enterprise integration patterns and technologies such as ESBs, message brokers, and API gateways. Familiarity with logistics concepts and systems, such as transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and supply chain visibility solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman. Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of big data technologies and analytics platforms for logistics optimization. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
