| Job description: Title: MDM architect Location: Remote Department: Data & Analytics Core skills MDM architect: Informatica Product 360 MDM domain Strong on how to design and catalog, data model within Informatica Integration from source to downstream Work with MDM Engineer (Internal and external) Role Responsibilities: Architect business solutions within MDM platform: Functional architecture Technical architecture Data architecture Architect solutions that encompass MDM platform & broader IT ecosystem Design & engineer new master data capabilities within Informatica MDM platform: Design & development of PIM catalogs & master repository Design & development of new & existing data imports / exports Design & development of new & existing hierarchies Design & development of new & existing workflows Design for MDM match & merge + survivorship rules Assist with QA, DEV and Prod environment deployments Assist with creation of testing plans, resolve any defect associated with development This role will liaise across all relevant areas and with stakeholders at any level both within IT DnA team and across all function areas to deliver MDM capabilities Engage with collaborative and proactive approach to solving key data needs Define thorough workflow processes that enhance efficiency, minimize human touch and ensure high data quality results Bring best-in-class and right sized MDM solutions to life at Giant Eagle Design and deliver MDM solutions in a highly scalable, collaborative & agile manner Depth of retail and/or product business process knowledge across disciplines required for successful Master Data designs. Leverage a data centric approach across all demands to build once and deploy many Ensure solutions meet stability concerns for ongoing maintenance and support. Adhere to agreed upon Program/Project Management principles to ensure work delivery alignment to strategic imperatives Produce all management reports completely, accurately and on time Experience: Required: 5 10 years experience as data / MDM architect Informatica MDM experience required Experience across a variety of functional disciplines in developing solutions that include: MDM Master data designs Data design for improving business operations & propelling BI / Analytics Desired: Experience with GS1 / GDSN Experience with ETL, Data Integration or MuleSoft Retail systems/application support experience Skills Required: A high level of deep cross-functional business experience with Data Management solutions and delivery depth of knowledge and collaborative spirit with ability to teach others on the following skillsets: Business Centric Data Design/Architecture Data & Master Data Management expertise Data Enablement - Business Intelligence & Design Cross Domain of Master Data knowledge Master Data Management: Analytical and Operational Data Mgmt & Execution, Taxonomy & Hierarchy, Centralization Skilled in Hierarchy design & capability Data Analysis, Querying Information & Data Architecture and modeling Process & Data Governance, including workflow design Compliance, privacy and regulatory data knowledge 03/19/24, 01:33:13 PM -- Keywords: quality analyst business intelligence information technology |
