Your expertise will drive the implementation of custom solutions and integrations that enhance user experience, increase conversion rates, and streamline operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative e-commerce solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize our BigCommerce store, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience. - Implement custom themes and modify existing templates to reflect the brand's aesthetic and functional requirements. - Develop and integrate custom apps and third-party applications to extend store functionality. - Collaborate with the UX/UI design team to translate visual concepts into functional online experiences. - Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality code standards. - Stay abreast of industry trends, BigCommerce updates, and e-commerce best practices to suggest and implement improvements. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 8+ years of experience in web development, with at least 3 years focusing on BigCommerce platform development. - Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side scripting languages. - Strong experience with BigCommerce APIs, Stencil framework, and developing custom BigCommerce themes. - Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles. - Experience with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical team members. As the Lead Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Oro Commerce solutions to meet our business needs.
