Role: Oracle DB Architect Location: Hybrid - Austin, TX Duration: 4 Month Contract (can be extended) Lead the database assessment, focusing on Oracle 19c and its integration with ConnectMaster. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in Oracle 19c administration, configuration, and optimization. Experience with database security, backup, and recovery procedures. Knowledge of SQL and experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Oracle Data Guard and other Oracle high availability technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional certification preferred. Key Responsibilities: Assess and optimize the performance of the Oracle 19c database to ensure it meets the scalability and reliability requirements of ConnectMaster. Evaluate current database configurations, schemas, and security settings against Oracle 19c best practices and compatibility with ConnectMaster. Identify opportunities for automation within the database environment, focusing on backup processes and failover mechanisms. Collaborate with the ConnectMaster Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure seamless integration and data flow between the database and the application. Provide recommendations for database improvements, scalability enhancements, and future-proofing strategies.
