Groovy Developer - Onsite (St. Louis, MO) The Java & Groovy Developer would need to have at least 5 years of experience. This Candidate will be a critical member of the team building the foundation for the next generation web platform and will support and extend running applications and assist in the design and development of new applications. The Java & Groovy Developer would evaluate and refactor in a rapid manner for every part of the infrastructure. Overall knowledge of designing an application to run on a scalable platform is expected. This Candidate will be working in an agile environment which means test-driven development and pair programming. The client is evolving towards a dev/ops model, with the development teams engaged in monitoring, optimizing and supporting the production environments. - At least five years of relevant application software development experience. - Experience with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures. - Developing Spring/Java/Maven applications. - Aggressive refactoring. - High comfort level with Unix/Linux command line. - Strong unit-testing skills (JUnit in particular). - 4 Agile/XP development - 4 Groovy - 4 Unit testing (JUnit/Mockito/EasyMock) - 4 Refactoring skills - 3 Maven - 2 JBoss - 2 SQL/PL-SQL - 2 ATG - Experience as a Technical Lead on a large application development project. - Experience in e-commerce frameworks like ATG. - Pair Programming. - Test Driven Development (TDD). - Experience working in a Continuous Integration environment Keywords: procedural language Missouri http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1235502&uid= |
