Under general direction, responsible for designing and/ or creating, maintaining, deploying, and managing SSIS packages for internal business teams and our customers. Candidates will work collaboratively with IT staff, and business stakeholders to create, maintain, and support ETL packages in a compliant, regulated environment. Escalate concerns to project management or Team Lead, assist in determining best practices, and provide suggestions on how to improve current practices.

Your role in our mission:

Participate in
JAD (Joint Application Design), RAD (Rapid Application Development), and DSD (Design Specifications Document) sessions to define and understand the business requirements and present detailed systems design documentation for reports, data interface files, data conversion, and any other method of data exchange.

Develop, test, manage, and implement SSIS Packages from the development server to the production server using package configuration.

Work on maintenance and Administration of SSIS by creating Jobs, Alerts, SQL Mail Agent, and schedule DTS/ SSIS Packages.

Design and guide other developers on complicated interfaces and should have strong debugging skills.

Ability to automate the execution of SSIS packages using SQL Server Agent Jobs.

Proactively engage in continuous improvement efforts.

Diagnose and resolve incident tickets and errors.

Develop ETL specifications, data mapping, and other documentation required for ETL development.

Use SQL, data models, data element dictionary, and schema to perform data and business analysis.

Understand business data and perform quality assurance testing to ensure the data presented is correct.

Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.

Support Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, End-to-End System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

What we're looking for (top 5 only):

9+years of experience with
SQL Server/ MS-SQL scripting and SSIS(required).

Ability to build complex queries and reports using Microsoft SQL.

Analytical and data analysis skills using Microsoft SQL (required).

Previous team leadership with analyzing, mentoring, and monitoring preferably healthcare plan data focusing on medical claim and financial processing, member eligibility processing, provider networks and MCO contract details, auditing, and reporting in compliance with Federal and State requirements.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Recommended Additional Skills/ Experience:

Experience with
QNXT or FACETS
Healthcare Payer Platforms preferred.

Experience in Healthcare IT working with claims, member, and provider data is strongly desired.

Ability to abide by Client policies.

Ability to maintain attendance to support the required quality and quantity of work.

Maintain confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, and customers.

Design and guide other developers on complicated interfaces and should have strong debugging skills.
