Position : Senior Angular UI Developer- Sr Software Engineer Location : on-site Baltimore, MD Duration: 12+months Visa : No H1B/CPT Interview mode: : video Job Description Senior Angular UI Developer with Java expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Angular 8.0 & above, Node.JS, Java/JEE, and Agile Development. =====================JOB DESCRIPTION ============================================== Architecting, designing, coding, and implementing next-generation web applications using the latest technologies. Developing and updating Angular webpages and services, utilizing tools such as NPM, Node.JS, HTML/JavaScript, CSS, and JQuery. Engaging in source code management and deployment with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, SonarQube, and UrbanCode. Crafting unit tests and practicing TDD with Karma and Jasmine, alongside Maven, Jenkins, Junit, and SonarQube. Diagnosing and fixing application defects, performing log analysis with Splunk and Dynatrace, and supporting an Agile development team. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field (Masters or Doctorate may substitute for experience). 10+ years of experience in software programming and design with Angular, TypeScript, Java, Spring, and REST. 5+ years on an Agile team and 4+ years building responsive UIs with modern front-end technologies. Proficiency in IBM Rational Application Developer, Visual Studio Code, Angular CLI, and Angular debugging tools. Strong understanding of OOP, quality practices, and modern front-end build pipelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to obtain a US Public Trust clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with CI/CD best practices, DevOps, OpenShift, JSON, and BDD (Cucumber or similar).
