Only executing already written test scripts for the payroll process in Workday Last candidate, trying to tell them she is a developer and development testing - this is not development testing this is end user testing understand payroll process from end user standpoint, not from a developer building out process They need to have previously executed a lot of test scripts been the person to actually hands on execute the scripts, NOT write the scripts. They will have 500-1000 test scripts given to them to go through they will sit on their computer and go through these and say either pass or fail from each script. Sometimes they will be doing this while the Business side watches and follows so sharing their screen. 2nd layer of the role - the team members assigned to use the system, they will be helping them on what and how to go through Workday Understanding of payroll process and someone who has done this before know how to run a payroll report in workday, know the steps of payroll in the actual system, which buttons to click in which order for payroll Not who has been in the team or a larger team for implementation, but The actual person who has done the end user testing Laurie Bennis is a superstar (Lori is wonderful and she is by herself, they cannot have her getting overwhelmed so they need someone as sharp that can take work off her plate) This of this as a very narrow and specific skillset and knowledge of one part of workday Specific skillset challenge: Knowledge Workday as an end user in an implementation program and knowledge of how payroll is executed in Workday Payroll process, understanding the business process and how those relate Test assignment is executing scripts, thousands of scripts looking at script going to system and completing according to instructions has done this specifically before Need to support the business on how to execute the scripts walking ppl through, sharing a screen showing how to do it like even the basics of telling them open this screen and click here, then scroll down the menu to select this This is about following a script and performing test on system must know that payroll process in workday Read script, execute, then explain to business side as you go along JanhaviSingh Technical Recruiter Email: [email protected] Keywords: quality analyst information technology golang |
