Competencies: EIS: SCADA Design and Development on Intellution platform Essential Skills: Provide engineering level technical support in the installation, operation, and maintenance of EMS hardware and SCADA systems, along with other computer/electronic equipment. Conduct diagnostic routines and analyze system malfunctions on various equipment. Recommend and implement equipment modifications to improve reliability. Develop and review test, troubleshooting, alignment, and calibration procedures. Design, test, document, update, and configure system hardware, communications, telemetry, and operating system software. Knowledge of Networking and integration, test, and management of telecom equipment. Support renewable and green initiatives and smart grid technologies. Instruct personnel in equipment use and safety procedures. Coordinate work with other divisions, departments, customers, and manufacturers. Gather technical data on electronic/digital components and establish alternate sources for substitution. Desirable Skills: Working knowledge of TTL, MOSFET, CMOS, and IC technology. Understanding of communications systems fundamentals and computer operating system firmware and programming languages.
